Once you have decided that you are interested in purchasing a SilverDust pup you can contact us by email, or telephone. . See the current litter page to send us an informal request for our current litters. We will answer any and all questions to help you to make an informed decision. Should you decide that you would like to be considered as a home for one of our puppies we will ask you to supply us with some personal information. This information includes information about you, your family, your home, your lifestyle, why you decided on an Australian Cattle Dog, how the pup will be raised, who will look after the puppy or what arrangement you have made if you are working and away from your home through the day. We will also require information regarding what your expectations of a puppy are, what you are looking for in personality, working ability, your overall expectations of an ACD. Although these questions seem particularly personal, we do need to know where our puppies are going and how they will live. I will not sell any dog that is going to live in a kennel full time. My dogs are ONLY sold to live on your couch. :-)

I am a Code of Ethics
breeder with the Australian Cattle Dog Club of
America; have been breeding dogs since 1969. Many references
are available from happy puppy owners, your welcome to ask; we will provide
references to anyone interested in a SilverDust pup. I do not have
kennel dogs, I do not have 20 dogs, all of my dogs live in my house.
There is not a reason to have 20-30 dogs unless you are breeding for profit.
What person can do justice to 20 dogs ? When searching for a puppy, be sure to ask all the right questions.
You are buying a puppy that will be in your life for a long time, do
yourself a favor and buy from a reputable breeder that has contracts and
health guarantees and not just a fancy web site full of excuses why they are
breeding 2-3 litters at one time.
I am currently on a 6th
generation of my breeding, health and welfare are very important to me.
I usually only have ONE litter a year. Puppies here are raised with
early neurological stimulation methods to insure that you will have a SUPER
puppy. You can read about these methods at:

Each of our puppies is very special to us and we are careful to select homes which we feel are going to provide the safe, loving, lifetime home environment which we desire for our puppies. In turn, we will give you comprehensive information about us in order that we may have a solid, lifetime, working relationship for the benefit of your new puppy. All puppies at SilverDust are AKC registered only and sold on a contract. We require a legally binding contract. References are also required. We do not sell puppies to brokers, dealers, puppy mills, pet shops or any other similar buyer. All shipping charges are at the buyer's expense and must be paid in advance, including Health Certificates and crates. Prices for puppies are discussed only upon availability and approval. We do not accept checks or offer refunds. All deposits are non-refundable. Please read the sales contract, carefully.
Puppies at SilverDust are only sold on a reservation basis only.

If approved you will be put on a waiting list for a pup. When the litter is born, you will be notified and you will have a week to place a deposit on a pup. If we do not receive your deposit, your name is removed and the next person is notified. We do not sell any intact bitches, they are sold ONLY on a co-ownership basis. We once sold an intact bitch and she had 8 litters of pups, so now, we have been burned, and will not sell any bitch in-tact, we will ONLY co-own intact bitches. Sorry, but one bad apple spoiled the pot. Puppies are very rare here, reservations are always accepted. Deposits guarantee your ability have a pup from the next litter.
